We are experts in PCB design with a solid reputation in high speed digital, analog, and RF markets for single, double, and high layer count boards. Whether your project entails high speed constraint-driven requirements or basic I/O, our staff has the expertise to deliver a comprehensive design package that is well-managed, on-time, and right the first time.

We have extensive experience in creating RoHS compliant designs for new layouts and conversions of existing assemblies. Also, ask about our reverse engineering capabilities, as we can convert an existing board assembly without documentation into a complete and functional database.

Capabilities and Services offered:

  • Schematic capture, bill of materials generation
  • Board artwork, SMT solder paste stencil artwork, CAM data generation
  • Assembly drawings, fabrication drawings
  • Board layout from a customer supplied schematic diagram
  • Reverse engineering
  • Controlled impedance designs
  • Layout for RF designs
  • Multi-layer boards, split ground planes, differential pairs, high speed rules
  • Routing per trace/space, keep-out, and clearance rules specified by customer

CAD Tools & Data Importing

PCB Unlimited uses Cadence's Allegro, OrCAD Layout and Mentor Graphics PADS for schematic capture & printed circuit board design. Net list data from other CAD systems can also be used. We can import AutoCAD drawings to capture mechanical constraints for board layout as well as export mechanical data. We can also import various file formats such as IGES, DXF, DWG, and STEP.

Printed Circuit Board Guidelines:

  • Fully dimensioned layout including all cut-outs, holes, and board thickness requirements
  • Voltage requirements
  • Schematic/Pinout
  • Resistance/Impedance requirements
  • Dielectric requirements
  • Connector/specific component locations (X, Y, top, bottom)
  • Board labeling specifications
  • End-use application
  • Copper key patterns, if applicable
  • Bill of materials, if applicable
