This is a modular system built for growth. Stand alone. 4500 CPH placement combined with flexibility and intelligence. The basic machine is complete except for the feeders.It includes a printed circuit board fixture for double sided PCB's. As soon as feeders are added to the package the machine is ready for production. In the basic configuration the PP-050 has one placement pipette, one on the fly component camera and one feeder bank. To increase the component range or number of feeders the machine can be upgraded with an extra camera or extra feeder banks. This machine beats all competitors on price and performance and can be upgraded when needed. Feeders for the ATOZ fit the entire range of DIMA pick and place machines.

The ATOZ provides you the latest technologies in CAN Bus interface, Linear encoding positioning system, CCD camera vision for Fiducial recognition and component alignment, highly intelligent feeders, fully programmable Windows® software. Reliable performance for more advanced assembly needs, the "Hybrid" line provides affordable BGA/CSP/Fine pitch placement. The user interface of both the Dymaxion and the Hybrid are based on the same platform and can be connected through network application. Management data is available to offer fully updated information at any time and place to your whole production staff.

The ATOZ will place virtually any component: Chip, Melf, SOT, SOIC, TSOP, TNT, PLCC, QFP, BGA, micro BGA, LCC and more from 0.5 x 1mm 0402 Chip up to 45 x 45mm components. (large components only with extra camera) Featuring a capacity of up to 120 fully intelligent feeders, a placement rate of up to 4500 components per hour, a flexible pcb holder and the state of the art ESI correct place vision system.
Installing extra feeder banks the ATOZ can be equipped with 120 feeders. Feeders can be placed at 4 sides around the PCB holder. 8 and 12-mm feeders are both 15mm wide so no loss of feeder positions when using 12 mm tapes. Feeder change over is possible without stopping production. Waffle tray feeder for up to 4 tray’s fit. Also a tray sequencer for up to 6 tray’s can be mounted on the back of the machine, with only loss of 15 feeder positions.
The servo motor driven intelligent tape feeders with built in microprocessor carry al information about the loaded components like: package type, quantity, offset, rotation, component name, value and operator alarm level.
Vibratory stick feeders are 60 mm wide, allowing up to 6 lanes of stick adapters. Stick feeder adapters are available for all standard components or can be custom made to your specifications.
The machine is equipped with a, servo motor driven, placement gantry. The servo motor system with linear encoders and a digital motion controller ensure high speed precision placements.
The head is equipped with one electronic pipette and vision on the fly for high speed placement of all standard components. Integrated into the placement head is a precision CCD camera for fiducial recognition, feeder alignment and easy teach in programming. A Large Component Camera can be equipped for Alignment of all components.
The integrated CAN/CAL bus network together with a WINDOWS® user interface ensures robust and quick programming.
